Paediatric First Aid Training – Ofsted Compliant, First Aid Industry Body Approved
This training course is specifically designed for Nannies, Nursery Workers, Preschool workers, Childminders and Parents.
FABREC Ltd works with a member of the First Aid Industry Body. A regulatory body ensuring a high quality of service and standard from its members.
Our 6-hour course is fully Ofsted compliant for the Early Years and Childcare Registers. The course is taught using an active participation method in a fun and relaxed environment. On completion of the course, the attendee will receive a Paediatric first aid certificate confirming they have completed the Paediatric First Aid Course. The course is aimed are the sole caregivers of children so we place an emphasis on preventing accidents, not just treating them.
The course is held on both weekdays and weekend for your convenience First Aid courses are offered 7 days a week and are for FREE for our candidates (subject to availability).

Paediatric First Aid Training meets the requirements set out by OFSTED for Childcare registers and covers the following subject matters:
- 6 hour course (1 day)-What is Covered?
- Accident prevention
- Planning for emergencies
- Appropriate contents of First Aid kits
- Basic life support for babies and children using life sized mannequins and AED trainers
- Resuscitation
- Bleeding
- Choking
- Anaphylaxis
There is an option to add parts of 12 hour paediatric first aid (2 day one) should people have an interest or a need for it. see below what 2 day course offers and if you feel you would benefit from adding any extras please add this in the note section when booking the course.
